Connexion 2023

Our annual Connexion Conference was recently held between 10-12 February 2023, at Sea World on the Gold Coast! It was such an incredible event filled with product sneak peaks, business training, awards and so much more. We are so grateful for everyone that attended, and those that worked behind the scenes to make magic happen.

For those that missed out on this year’s fun, we’ve put together some of the best moments and award winners so that we can all celebrate the amazing achievements of our Lorraine Lea Community.

This year’s key focus was all about connecting; sharing experiences, and building new relationships with likeminded Stylists and Leaders. After 1,097 days since our last in-person conference, it was so special to catch up with old friends, and meet the many new faces that have started their own Lorraine Lea Business over the last couple of years.

The conference itself featured keynote speakers, panel discussions, workshops and of course, networking opportunities. In addition to the connections made, the conference was a place for inspiration and motivation for our beautiful Stylists and Leaders, as they work towards achieving both personal and professional goals.

For our Sales Manager Jo, it was all about connecting after spending so much time apart:

“Know what it’s like being reunited with family after 3 years of not being able to see them?  That’s exactly how it felt coming together with our Stylist community in SeaWorld at our Connexion conference.

The hugs were tighter, the tears of joy shone brightly in the sunshine of the Gold Coast and the love & passion for all things Lorraine Lea in the room was strong.

Our annual conference is a place where we love, learn and inspire our stylist community, we celebrate their annual achievements from the previous year and we release our new Collection – Autumn Inspirations!

Our leaders took part in a 2 hour exclusive leader session with guest speaker Chris Helder. Chris took our leaders on a journey about useful beliefs and introduced them to a 5 step process to Reignition. 

Merchandise Manager Megan and her assistant buyer Bree-Anna then took a small group on an exclusive tour of our new collection sharing secrets and hot tips.  We call this our Red Carpet Event and this group were treated to Mimosas and morning tea with our Leadership group.

Having a large group of our Stylist & Leader community in one place for the first time in 3 years really was special. Our Guest Speaker Amanda Stevens shared her story about being brave, even when you don’t feel strong, and shared the customer journey of the future, equipping our community on how to build a strong customer base and building strong relationships and connections with their customers.

We also had presentations from our Stylist & Leader community, those who are achieving success in their personal businesses shared their tips, strategies, and processes with everyone. One thing that’s special here at Lorraine Lea is how we all want everyone else to achieve their version of success. We’re an open and sharing community – and we LOVE that!

Gala Dinner, or as we like to call it ‘Our Lorraine Lea Logies’ was another highlight of the event. Celebrating our Top achievers online the past few years was fun but celebrating in person – well you simply can’t beat it. We finished the evening dancing the night away with a resident DJ!

We rounded out our conference event with an Exclusive Shark Bay Tour. Some snorkeled in the lagoon and others took the private guided tour of the most loved exhibit at SeaWorld.

What a great 3 days it was. Let’s do it all again!”

Saturday Night Gala

A fan favourite, the Saturday Night Gala Dinner celebrates our amazing Lorraine Lea Community, and all that they have achieved in the past year. The awards are designed to celebrate excellence, camaraderie and encouragement among peers. They aim to empower independent Lorraine Lea Stylists and motivate innovation and merit in their business processes, while promoting a positive business model that helps create better lives for our Stylists and their families.

The Stylist who individually raises the most money through donations of event profits, host credits and online donations during the Party for Kids with Cancer® fundraising appeal. And the winner is…

Awarded to the top selling Stylist with the highest paid-in sales. And the winner is…
