This Father’s Day, we wanted to showcase some of our amazing dadpreneurs!

These incredible men are not only amazing fathers and grandfathers but also run their own successful Lorraine Lea biz. They are the real Boss Babes! (Yes, men can be Boss Babes too!)

Geof -

I joined Lorraine Lea in July 2019 after hosting my own event and sussing out the perks. My life is already pretty busy, so I took about 2 weeks contemplating how I could juggle this new exciting role in my life before I finally decided to take the leap and start my own Lorraine Lea biz!

My main reasons for joining were the social aspects and team environment. I’ve been involved with other Direct Sales Businesses in the past, but teams were never a strong focus and always had an “every man for themselves” feel to them. The strong team culture at Lorraine Lea definitely stood out and was a huge reason why I decided to join.

So, a little about me:

  • I live in Devonport, Tasmania
  • I’m a father of three kids aged 11, 8 & 7
  • I work Full Time as a Site Manager in Employment Services
  • I am a Public Officer & Secretary for a State-Based charity organisation, Kyla’s Foundation
  • And, I run my own successful Lorraine Lea Business

As you can imagine, juggling all of this can be a challenge, and like most people, I have good days and bad. I guess the key is organisation, motivation and a cheeky bottle of wine!

The Lorraine Lea lifestyle works for me because I can do as much as I want when I want. There’s no pressure to meet other’s KPI’s. I’m simply reaching for the goals and targets I set for myself.

Lorraine Lea has already helped me achieve so much. From meeting my social expectations, earning incentives (like scoring a Weber BBQ in September 2019!) and helping me make extra income for family holidays, Wine tours with friends, Christmas and birthdays, and of course, paying off those everyday expenses.

What a ride the last two and a bit years has been. Bring on many more!

Len -

My wife Bev and I started our Lorraine Lea journey in February this year, after having been retired for 6 years, selling our family home, and buying a caravan to travel around Australia!

The idea came from our beautiful daughter Susan, who was already an Independent Stylist. After a few weeks of hesitation, we thought, why not give it a shot - What have we got to lose? So we joined Susan and started our own Lorraine Lea biz.

Our first thought was that we would be helping our daughter grow her business, but we then saw the opportunity to promote the Lorraine Lea range as we travel and to make a little bit of extra spending money for ourselves! After a few orders from supportive family and friends, we soon paid for our kit, and off we went!

We have set up displays in caravan parks for people to see and talk about and at local markets near where we have been staying. We love talking to people about the product range and have had some reasonable success in making sales!

When we aren’t travelling, we like to spend as much time as possible with our family. Apart from our beautiful daughter, we have a son-in-law (her husband) and four incredible grandchildren.

We love the lifestyle running our own business provides as we have the freedom to go where we want while making an income. We’re still only young in the business and have a lot to learn, but we have enjoyed our venture into the linen land and look forward to many more sales in the coming months!

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, uncles & influential men in our lives.
