Snuggle season is about to arrive, and we couldn’t be more excited to create a cosy little nook to immerse ourselves in during the colder months. It’s time to swap out your summer bedding for something a little warmer!

Add layers

Bed layering

To ensure the ultimate level of warmth and comfort, your mattress should include three layers.
Just don’t blame us when you don’t want to get out of your bed cocoon to head off to work on those cold winter mornings…

  • Mattress Topper
This one goes first! Not only does your mattress topper fight off all those little dust mites that can cause allergies, but they also add a cloud-like cushiness to your mattress. Greenfirst® is a hypoallergenic, plant-based treatment against dust mites containing lemon, lavender and eucalyptus essential oils.
  • Mattress Protector
Your Mattress Protector goes next. While your topper prevents dust mites, your protector keeps your mattress looking brand new by absorbing any sweat and germs before they soak through to your mattress. Our Coral Fleece Protector is plush and soft, adding to that ‘Cloud 9’
  • Wool Underlay
Last but not least is your Wool Underlay. As it’s made from wool, the underlay keeps your body temperature regulated, so you don’t freeze in winter or get too hot and sweaty in summer.

Soft & fluffy sheets

For that extra element of cosiness that will keep you warm throughout the night, you can’t go past a good set of Flannelette Sheets. Available in a variety of colours and patterns, there’s something for everyone!

Cosy quilt

Cosy quilts

Gloomy, drizzly days are the perfect opportunity to indulge in a lazy day or take advantage of a much-needed sleep in! Burrowing under the covers is even better when your bed is boasting a warm and comfy quilt.

Our Dual Layer quilt is ideal for all seasons as it features two 200GSM quilts, which can be used together or separately. When joined, the quilt will capture three air pockets, resulting in a warmer and cozy nights’ sleep.

If you find it hard to regulate your body temperature while you sleep, consider a Wool Quilt. Featuring 500GSM of wool fibre, it’s surprisingly light and soft!

The Healthy Fibre Quilt is the best option for those that suffer from allergies or asthma. It features a BioFresh treatment, which is antibacterial, antimicrobial, and anti-dust mite! This quilt offers warmth in winter but is so breathable that it’ll work wonders for you in summer too.

Blankets

Blankets

Blankets are the perfect addition of comfort and warmth to your bedding and one of the quickest ways to cosy up your home! Simply add a thick blanket across the width of your bed before introducing textured elements like Throws and Cushions.

Lightweight, silky-soft, and incredibly warm, our Ultra Soft Blankets are available in four stunning colours to suit any bedroom colour scheme.

Made from 480GSM Woolmark accredited Australian wool, our Wool Blankets are the ideal product for those who love the look and feel of an elegant blanket.

Texturise

The more texture you have in a space, the cosier it’s going to feel. And who doesn’t want their bedroom to feel inviting in winter? Adding textured throw rugs and cushions to your home will create the ultimate cosy vibe.

Nothing says winter like faux fur. Our Spencer Throws and Cushion Covers are the perfect winter accessory for your bed.

Don’t forget the kids! Our range of Kids' Throws will add extra cosy comfort to your kids’ bedrooms.

Now is the perfect time to update your bedding for the cooler weather! Book an event or see what’s on at Lorraine Lea.
