Finding the perfect pillow isn’t as hard as you might think. It’s a journey, for sure, but not a tough one if you understand how you sleep. That’s really what finding the right pillow comes down to; knowing the type of sleeper you are and then finding a pillow that supports you as you snooze.

Today I want to explore this further, by looking into the type of sleeper you are, and also showcasing the variety of Lorraine Lea pillows on offer. By the end of this post, you’ll know exactly which type of pillow is your perfect match. Let’s do it!

The Back Sleeper

If you spend most of the night on your back, you’re best to grab a memory foam or latex pillow. That’s because these pillows are thicker than most, so your head and neck both get the support they need.

The memory foam relieves pressure points and is heat sensitive too, so it contours to the shape of your head and neck but easily bounces back to its original position when you rise.

The added bonus of Lorraine Lea latex pillows is that they feature superior breathability and moisture performance. They also have a longer lifespan than ordinary latex, which is great news.

The Side Sleeper

Memory foam and latex options are just as good for side sleepers as they are back sleepers. But there’s one more pillow you can gravitate toward is you sleep most of the night on your side, and that’s the Posture Sleep.

What makes the Posture Sleep pillow so dreamy is that it features a supportive foam core wrapped in premium quality polyester. Not only does it retain fullness but it also contours perfectly to your head and neck.

This feature is super important for side sleepers, as you need the space between your ear and outer shoulder to be cushioned through the night.

The Stomach Sleeper

If you spend most of your sleep on your tummy, there are two pillows you need to look out for, and both have a necessary low-profile, which is crucial in preventing neck pain.

The first is the Microfibre pillow, which is soft and cosy to the touch and designed to emulate the finest goose cluster.

The second option is the antibacterial Greenfirst Bamboo pillow. It’s repels and kills dust mites too, so it’s a great pillow for allergy sufferers. And because of its slim profile, it’s an amazing option for your neck and spine.

Bonus for allergy sufferers: The Microfibre, Greenfirst Bamboo and Latex pillows are all phenomenal options for you.

Sleepers with Back Pain

If you have back pain to contend with, it’s all about finding a pillow that keeps the spine in place while you’re sleeping.

Lorraine Lea’s Body pillow is your best bet. It supports your hips and shoulders and prevents tossing and turning throughout the night. That means a good night’s sleep without pain in the morning. How nice would that be!?

For Nursing Mums

For nursing mums it’s all about support, so it’s best to look toward a larger than average pillow you can pop behind or around you. This’ll give you the comfort and back support you need while you’re sitting up in bed or on the sofa.

Grab yourself a Tri, Body or Euro pillow from the Lorraine Lea range and you’re good to go!

Wake up Happy!

There’s nothing worse than suffering through a terrible night’s sleep, so grab your preferred pillow from the Lorraine Lea range and finally enjoy a pain-free snooze!
