There are so many factors that go into whether or not you’re going to have a good night’s sleep. The good news is you can control a few of those factors – especially the bedding aspect!

The quilt is arguably one of the most important elements, so I thought it best to take you through the options Lorraine Lea has to offer.

A few minutes of reading, a little careful consideration before purchasing, and you’re going to be on your way to a dreamy, comfy and cosy sleep in no time. How exciting!

Here are four quilt options for your consideration and what makes each one so good.

thermal balancing

If you’re a warm sleeper and find yourself sweating during the night, a Thermal Balancing Quilt is your friend. It’s even better for those of you experiencing hot flushes, because it features Outlast technology. It works to absorb, store and release heat as needed, so you stay at optimal resting body temperature throughout the night.

It’s also great for those of you suffering from insomnia because it manages frustrating temperature fluctuations.

greenfirst bamboo

What could be better than a quilt made from natural bamboo fibre? And when you take into account how breathable this superior quilt option is, you’re onto a winner.

The Greenfirst chemical-free and anti-dust mite treatment within this quilt is great at combating common irritants. So if you have asthma or eczema, it’s heaven to sleep with. It’s also wonderful at controlling moisture, and you can use it all year round.

100% wool

If you find it hard to regular your body temperature while you sleep, consider grabbing a Wool Quilt. This one is 100% wool and it relieves the body of thermal stress. It’s aim is to get you a deeper, more refreshing sleep. So if constant waking throughout the night is getting you down, this quilt could be your saviour.

It features 500gsm of wool fibre and is light and soft. Despite this, it’s a ‘full’ looking quilt, so your bedding is going to look super-plush!

healthy fibre

Got some allergies to contend with? The Healthy Fibre Quilt is probably the best one for you. The reason: it features a BioFresh treatment, which is antibacterial, antimicrobial and anti-dust mite. All of which are perfect if you’re battling asthma too. This quilt offers warmth in winter but is so breathable that it’ll work wonders for you in summer as well. It has 300gsm filling 100% hollow polyester fibres.

complete the bedding goodness

Take some time to have a think about which quilt will work best for you, your body and your sleeping patterns. But also consider decking out the rest of your bed in the other essential protective layers as well.
